The only way to even begin to describe Addy and Joel’s day is simply heart filled. Covid-19 made the road to saying I Do a winding one for them, but third time’s a charm for this sweet duo!! After postponing their big day plans in Milwaukee twice, they finally decided to move their elegant, intimate wedding to Davenport, Iowa and continued to just roll with the changes along the way. It’s a true testament to what mattered most to them, getting married and embarking on a life together no matter when and where! You can see it and feel it in the way they interact with each other and in their smiles when they look at one another – it was all about their love!

Addy and Joel are the sweetest, most down to earth couple. Their intimate ceremony and reception was simple and full of heart! They exchanged vows surrounded by closest family and friends at the beautiful St. Ann’s Church. It was picturesque with vintage stained glass windows, wooden pews, arched details and a soaring steeple and absolutely straight out of a storybook as they exited the double doors through joyful ribbons and cheers!

From a beautiful ceremony to an outdoor reception with personal touches, emotional speeches and a tear jerking video of congrats, their entire day was all about the love they shared and the love of their family and friends. The most memorable part of the day had to be at the reception with a surprise video! Addy’s sister created a slideshow of videos from friends and family who couldn’t be there to share the day with them. They all sent their well wishes for the newlyweds and it was such a special moment – with a few tears shed by all in the room. Like I said – full of heart from beginning to end and it was a complete joy to be a part of it!
