If you’ve planned a wedding over the past couple of years, you may have noticed something. Postponements and rescheduling and replanning have been a part of the process. This was also the case for Jamie and Brandon. They made the tough decision to reschedule their wedding so that they were able to celebrate with their friends and family. And may I just say, this day was worth the wait!
Jamie and Brandon are truly the kindest people who have the sweetest love. Jamie is the life of the party and Brandon is her kind, reassurance in the chaos. These two are both UWSP Pointers! Jamie played basketball and Brandon played hockey…..Jamie was always told not to fall for a hockey player. Whoops!
On an extraordinarily HOT afternoon in June, Jamie and Brandon were married at the modern, rustic Terrace 167 in Richfield, WI. Everything about this day felt picture perfect. From the ceremony to the party bus to the dances and speeches – let’s just say they did not disappoint! Jamie and Brandon even took dance lessons to fully amp up their first dance. If anything, it was worth the wait of rescheduling the wedding just to see this first dance. Literally every step was on beat, they totally crushed it!!
There were so many special moments throughout the day, but one that stood out to me the most was Jamie’s father’s speech. He filled a cup with rocks, each rock signifying a different group of people that made Jamie who she is today. Then he poured a beer in the cup. He ended the speech by saying “Wherever you go and whoever you meet I hope you always find time to for a beer with dad” – it was just the sweetest!
