While I’ve had a camera in hand for about as long as I can remember, I finally turned the lens towards weddings and couples in late 2017. What started as a hobby and side hustle during the off hours of my bland desk job quickly grew into something I couldn’t live without. And in 2018, I said “bye-bye” to the office life and “hello” to full-time photography! I started out second-shooting with some of the best photographers in the Midwest, read up on all the training materials I could find, and finally: Ali Lockery Photography was born.
Ali Lockery Photography was built on the foundation of capturing the most real photos of you and your loved ones. I live for those intimate moments, meaning that no matter if you’re a pro in front of the camera or super uncomfortable, I’ll make sure the experience stays laidback, fun, and allows you to truly be yourself. My experience focuses on capturing the emotions of your day, from witnessing mothers gawking and fathers crying to little ones dancing and, of course, that priceless first look.
